FIROZABAD (UTTAR PRADESH): Voters at some locations in Tundla meeting constituency of Uttar Pradesh boycotted the by-election on Tuesday, alleging that no improvement work had taken place of their space.

With the slogan “Vikas nahi, to vote nahi” (No improvement, No vote), voters on the Rudhau Mustkil sales space No. 30 boycotted the polling. At this sales space, there are 629 voters and no vote was forged until now. A purported video clip surfaced on social media, through which Sub-divisional Justice of the Peace Ekta Singh is speaking to the individuals and asking them to vote.

The voters instructed the media that they might not vote until they get assurance of improvement. At Kachhpura village in Line Par space’s sales space No. 358, persons are reportedly boycotting polling as a result of water disaster of their space.

Nevertheless, officers didn’t affirm this.
