MUMBAI: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday stated he would settle for Diwali greetings solely by way of social media and emails, and appealed to folks to rejoice the pageant of lights safely at dwelling.
Some of the affected areas within the nation amid the pandemic, Maharashtra has recorded 17,26,926 circumstances of coronavirus and 44,435 casualties up to now.
“I’ll settle for Diwali greetings solely by way of emails and social media. We have to preserve ourselves protected and shield the well being of our close to and expensive ones,” Thackeray stated in an announcement.
Referring to the second wave of the viral outbreak in Europe, the chief minister warned in opposition to complacency.
