SRINAGAR: Two militant associates of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) outfit have been arrested in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, police mentioned on Saturday.

They’ve been recognized as Bilal Ahmad Chopan, a resident of Wagad Tral, and Mursaleen Bashir Sheikh from Chatlam Pampore, a police official mentioned.

The duo was nabbed from the Awantipora space of the south Kashmir district, he mentioned.

The official mentioned as per investigation, they have been offering logistic assist and shelter apart from transporting arms and ammunition of the militants in Pampore and Tral areas of the district.

Police have registered circumstances and additional investigations are in progress, he added.
