The decision on UP Board Exam 2021 is likely to be announced soon by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, UPMSP. As per the latest media reports, the UP Board is expected to reveal the final dates on UP 10th and 12th Board Exams soon. Meanwhile, the State Education Minister Dr Dinesh Sharma has test tested positive, the board officials will make the announcement after having a discussion with CM Yogi Adityanath regarding the same.
This year, the UP Board High-school & Intermediate Exams 2021 have been postponed twice in a row. The board examinations were first postponed due to the panchayat election across the state. Secondly, after that with the rapid increase in COVID cases across the country. The State Deputy Chief Minister Dr Dinesh Sharma earlier said that decision on the revised board exams timetable will be announced after observing the circumstances on May 20.
However, the COVID cases are constantly increasing in the state and there is no chance to conduct board examinations in this pandemic situation. According to sources, the board is considering cancelling exams as the number of cases continues to increase. The final decision on UP Board 10th, 12th examination is expected to be announced this week.
As many as 56,03,813 students will write the UP Board Secondary and Senior Secondary Exam 2021. A total of 29,94,312 students have been registered for UP Board Class 10th exams. While a total of 26,09,501 students have registered for UPMSP Class 12 exams this year.
The UPMSP has designated 10% additional examination centres to conduct the UP Board Class 10th & 12th Exam 2021 in view of the health safety of students and staffs. This year, the Uttar Pradesh board examinations will be held at 8,497 test centres across the state. Last year the number of board examinations centres was 7,784.
