BHOPAL: Former Madhya Pradesh chief minister and current state Congress chief Kamal Nath kicked up a political storm by referring to Jyotiraditya Scindia loyalist and cupboard minister Imarti Devi as an ‘merchandise.’
Devi, the ladies and little one growth minister in Shivraj Singh Chouhan authorities and three-time former Congress MLA from Dabra (SC) seat, is searching for re-election now as a BJP candidate from the identical seat of Gwalior district.

Later, a BJP delegation met Election Fee officers in Bhopal and complained towards Nath for “insulting ladies and Dalits”.
Devi and 21 different MLAs loyal to Jyotiraditya Scindia had resigned from the Congress and the state Meeting and joined the BJP in March, within the course of bringing down the Nath authorities.
Counting of votes of the bypolls shall be held on November 10.
