Bengaluru youth funds ganja business with accident relief | Bengaluru News

BENGALURU: Two persons, including a hotel management graduate, were nabbed for allegedly peddling drugs.
Devanahalli police seized 101kg of ganja worth Rs 40 lakh from Sachin aka Sagar, 24, a resident of Nayandahalli on Mysuru Road, and Anand, 23, autorickshaw driver from Hebbagodi.
Police swung into action after they received information about two persons selling ganja near Chocolate House Shop on Nandi Hills Road on Monday evening. They detained Anand and recovered 5kg of ganja, but Sachin managed to speed away on his bike. He was arrested on Tuesday.
Sachin had completed his internship in Malaysia and returned to Bengaluru. He met with a road accident last year and got compensation for injuries which he used for purchasing ganja from Visakhapatnam. He roped in Anand to sell drugs in the city, police said.
