MOTIHARI: An SSB jawan was killed after he was run over by an unidentified automobile whereas on his technique to attend election obligation in Bihar’s East Champaran district, police mentioned on Tuesday.

The incident came about close to Dumra Chowk in Kotwa police station space on Monday evening when 34-year-old Sashastra Seema Bal jawan Shailesh Kumar Singh was going to a polling sales space in Kalyanpur constituency in East Champaran district on his bike, a police officer mentioned.

The jawan hailed from West Champaran district and was posted on the SSB’s 65th battalion in Bettiah, Kotwa police station SHO Rajiv Kumar mentioned.

The physique was handed over to his members of the family after the conduct of the autopsy examination, he added.
