AHMEDABAD: 4 individuals, together with two ladies, have been killed and 5 others injured in two separate highway accidents in Gujarat’s Surat and Jamnagar districts on Thursday morning, police stated.

In Jamnagar, two sisters died and three of their members of the family have been injured after their automotive fell 35-feet-deep right into a dry river mattress, Meghpar police station’s sub-inspector D S Vadher stated.

The deceased have been recognized as Jasuben Karangia (40) and her sister Pabiben Chavda (36).

The 2 households have been on their method to Jamnagar metropolis from Devbhumi-Dwarka district, Vadher stated.

The husbands of the 2 ladies and Karangia’s son have been injured within the accident.

In one other accident, two males, aged 61 and 25, died after their automotive heading from Mumbai to Rajasthan collided with a truck on Nationwide Freeway No.48 close to Kosamba village in Surat, one other police official stated.

“The automotive jumped the divider and collided with the truck coming from the other way.

Each the automotive occupants died on the spot,” Kosamba police station’s sub- inspector Arvind Chaudhari stated.

The truck driver and cleaner acquired accidents, he stated.
